本研究以台塑六輕相關的14家公司為研究對象，利用行政院主計處所公告的1991、1996、2001、2006年之工商普查資料，來評估台塑六輕對雲林縣總體經濟發展的影響。另外，本研究以文獻分析法來探討國外巨大石油公司在推動企業社會責任所面臨的議題和作法，本研究提出結論和建議以做為雲林縣政府未來縣政規劃以及台塑六輕推動企業社會責任之參考。

The research targets of this study are Formosa Plastics Group's No.6 Naphtha Cracking Project related 14 companies. Using 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006 「Industry, Commerce and Service Census」published by Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, Executive Yuan, the purpose of this study is to evaluating the macroeconomic development impact to Yunlin County by Formosa Plastics Group's No.6 Naphtha Cracking Project related 14 companies. Furthermore, the methodology of this study included literature analysis, which used to find the issues and practices of corporate social responsibility facing by foreign big oil companies. The conclusions and suggestions of this study is presented for future policy planning of Yunlin County and future corporate social responsibility practices of Formosa Plastics Group's No.6 Naphtha Cracking Project related companies.
