頭頸癌好發於中年男性，一旦中斷治療，將導致死亡率增加，進而造成家庭、社會和國家的負擔與衝擊。透過文獻回顧，我們統整出危險因子，和降低病人中斷治療的措施，以提供病人、家屬和醫療照護人員參考，進而降低因中斷治療所帶來不良的影響，以提高存活率。
