目的:本研究目的在於分析2005年中華成棒培訓代表隊選手所使用球棒之重量情形;方法:以18名成棒培訓隊打擊手為研究對象,統計調查選手比賽時使用之球棒重量,並空揮925g、865g、830g及800g四支不同重量的球棒,以探討不同重量球棒的揮棒速度、選手比賽使用球棒的適宜性以及與理想球棒重量之差異。結果:(一)選手比賽用球棒重量介於910 g~930 g間,平均重量914g(±7.05g);(二)有13人(72%)的最快的揮棒速度是800g、830g;(三)925g球棒的平均速度82.40公里/小時,揮865g球棒的平均速度81.02公里/小時,均不及優秀打擊者應有水準;(四)最大動量出現在925g球棒;(五)Bahill & Freitas理想球棒平均重量832 g。結論:參加2005亞洲棒球錦標賽培訓選手所使用之球棒有偏重情況,棒球協會應及早提供選手個別需求之球棒,以利於選手練習適應,及比賽時有較佳表現。

英文摘要

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze bat weight is suitable between normal used bat and appropriated bat. Method: 18 batters from Chinese Taipei baseball team were participated in this study. Two research methods were used. First, researcher interviewed with batters for identifying what kind of bat features are important factors. Four different weight bats, 925g, 865g, 830g and 800g, were swung for testing swing speed. Result: The results showed that (1) After interview, the findings reveal that weight of normal used bat in game is 914g; (2) 800g and 830g are produced peak swing speed by most of players. (3) Swing speed of subjects in this study, members of national team, was slower than the players of the United States and Japan, but it faster than first-class players in Taiwan. (4)925g bat could produced the biggest momentum than others bat. (5)Weight of ideal bat by Bahill & Freitas' formula is 832g. Conclusion: the results suggested that our national players try to use lighter bat in game. Association of baseball should provide some suitable bats for individual player.
