中文摘要 |
The purpose of the study was to know the reaction time of the first swimmer and that of other relay swimmers in domestic, Asian Games, and Olympic Games swimming competitions. Moreover the study probed the difference of reaction time between gender and competitions of different levels. The study was based on the statistics of reaction time of each relay events of finalists of swimming competitions in R.O.C Games 96, Asia Games 2006, and Olympic Games 2008. Analyzing the statistics with the methods of one-way ANOVA and T-test, it was shown that the reaction time of first swimmers, considering both genders in freestyle and medley relays in different competitions, did not vary significantly (p>.05). As for the reaction time between each relay swimmer, domestic swimmers of both genders reacted with notably longer time than those of Asia Games and Olympic Games (p<.05). According to the result, it was concluded that male and female athletes of Taiwan were almost in the same level with swimmers of Asia Games and Olympic Games in start-off techniques and skill. However, the long reaction time between each relay swimmer showed that domestic coaches and athletes should put more focus on trainning relay techniques and relaed skills. |
