中醫治療初期高血壓頭脹之病例報告

Early hypertension with head bulge treated by Chinese medicine: a case report

本病例為一位42歲的女性患者，有甲狀腺機能亢進病史，經過西醫治療後甲狀腺機能已恢復正常但仍有血壓偏高、頭脹的問題，經心臟內科檢查並無發現高血壓的併發症及其他心血管疾病，便尋求中醫治療，經中藥天麻鉤藤飲加減治療後，病患血壓偏高及頭脹等症狀均獲得進步。因中醫治療高血壓初期臨床報告並不多，故以此病例報告提出治療經驗，供臨床醫師參考及運用。

This case is a 42-year-old female patient with a history of hyperthyroidism. After western medicine treatment, the thyroid function had returned to normal but still had problems with high blood pressure and head discomfort. No complications of hypertension were found by the cardiology examination. For other cardiovascular diseases, she sought Chinese medicine treatment. After the addition and subtraction of the Chinese medicine Tianma Gouteng Decoction, the patient's symptoms such as high blood pressure and head discomfort improved. Since there are not many early clinical reports on the treatment of hypertension with traditional Chinese medicine, this case report provides treatment experience for clinicians' reference and use.
