楊牧心懷傳統,尊重古典,以學問為後盾從事創作,如濟慈所謂「住在一千個世界上」,為學院詩人範型。本文論其美學觀照、學術師承,申說他對《尚書》、《詩經》中憂患意識的發揚,對初民聲籟的掌握,與魏晉抒情美典陸機〈文賦〉的輝映,進而詳析他選取古典人物史實或文本角色作自我內省的心象,說明他兼容抒情、敘事所創發的體式。 作為華文世界傑出的詩人,楊牧的心路歷程與成就深具啟示意義。 |
英文摘要 |
Yang Mu, a poet who is conscious about the tradition, respectful of the classicism, and makes brilliant use of scholarly knowledge to buttress his creative works, is a quintessential academic poet. To research his style, which is simultaneously lyrical and narrative, this essay tries to review his aesthetic standpoint and academic background; to manifest how he carries forward the ”consciousness of disaster” expressed in the ancient shang shu and Book of Poetry, how he interprets the musicality of our ancestors of early days, and how he echoes and annotates the lyrical classicism of Lu Ji's Wen Fu dated back in the Wei-Jin Dynasties. Furthermore, this essay sieves through and analyzes his many choices of historical or fictional characters as ideal images for self-reflection. As a distinguished poet in the Chinese literature world, Yang Mu's spiritual pathway and achievements are of exemplary importance with revealing meanings which well justify a study in depth. |
