During Tang dynasty, the well-developed post-roads transportation between two Capitals brought a continuous stream of travelers, thus this thoroughfare became a famous "road of Tang poetry". Extending eastward from two Capitals is Liang (now Henan Kaifeng) and Song (now Henan Shangqiu), this east-west axis made the area of Liang-song turned into a largest provisional capital. Extending to the northeast from Liang-song, is Qi (now Shandong Zibo), Lu (now Shandong Qufu) area. Transportation to Qilu also benefited by virtue of the transportation advantages to Liang-song. The route from two Capitals to Liang-song and Qilu became the choice of high Tang's poets' journey because of its ideal geopolitical relations and transportation network. On this route, poets have different active modes of career-making, such as residing as visitors, stopping being employed temporarily or try to make a living, made this area a buffer zone between being official or live in seclusion. With the poets' movements, the route from two Capitals to Liang-song and Qilu is also the route to the officialdom. The two Capitals and Liang-song Qilu not only has geospatial meaning of political reality but even more a meaningful space in poets' spiritual level.
