這是一篇協助慢性精神分裂症個案復健期工作適應的護理經驗，護理期間從95年3月17日至95年9月16日，筆者以整體性評估為架構，運用會談及觀察法收集資料，確立個案主要護理問題有：1.低自尊；2.焦慮；3.無效性因應能力。三個主要護理問題交錯影響其工作適應過程，護理人員經由同理心技巧的運用與建構正向經驗，提昇個案的工作成就感；藉由強化自我控制感，使個案焦慮感降低；透過自我檢示法的運用，增加個案對壓力源與反應的覺察力，也開始學習新的壓力管理策略。

This article describes the experiences in the nursing rehabilitation of a chronic schizophrenic client's readjustment to work environment. The nursing assessment is based on holistic framework and data collected through both interview and observation. Three major nursing problems were identified that affect the client's adjustment to work: (1) low self-esteem, (2) anxiety and (3) ineffective coping. To improve the client's self-esteem, nursing staff used compassionate approach and design situations that allowed the client to experience a sense of accomplishment. The reinforcement of self-control helped reduce the client's level of anxiety. The increased awareness of pressure improved the client's coping pattern. Six months later, the client was able to demonstrate the use of new strategies to manage stress at work.
