本研究旨在探討心導管檢查多媒體衛教光碟對患者焦慮及心導管檢查整體滿意度之成效。採用前後測類實驗研究設計，以方便取樣選取某區域教學醫院接受心導管檢查之門診病患為研究對象，分成實驗組及控制組各1人。實驗組觀看心導管檢查多媒體衛教光碟，控制組接受常規單張衛教。研究工具包括焦慮及心導管檢查整體滿意度量表。研究結果顯示衛教前兩組基本資料為同質性，兩組於衛教前皆呈現高度焦慮；實驗組於衛教前後之焦慮改變程度顯著高於控制組（z＝-5.54；p＜0.001）；心導管檢查整體滿意度顯著高於控制組（z＝-6.03；p＜0.001）。衛教後焦慮程度與心導管檢查整體滿意度呈顯著負相關（r＝-0.49；p＜0.001）。本研究支持不同教學策略能有效改善病患在心導管檢查前的焦慮程度及提升對心導管檢查整體滿意度，本研究衛教方式可應用於心導管檢查前病患之照護參考。

A pre-post quasi-experimental research was conducted to study the effect of cardiac catheterization patient education using multimedia compact disc (CD) on anxiety and patient satisfaction. Data was collected from a convenience sample of 102 outpatients of a cardiac catheterization department at a regional teaching hospital. Subjects in the control group received a standard patient education handout on cardiac catheterization and subjects in the experimental group received the same content in multimedia CD format. Measurements included Visual Analog Scales for Anxiety (VAS-A) and an overall satisfaction questionnaire. Both groups scored high in anxiety before patient education. The experimental group showed significant reduction in pre- and post-patient education anxiety level comparison (z= -5.54; p＜0.001). The experimental group also had significantly higher scores in post cardiac catheterization procedure overall satisfaction (z= -6.03; p＜0.001). There was a significantly negative correlation between anxiety and overall satisfaction (r= -0.49; p＜0.001). The results support that the use of multimedia (CD) to prepare patients for cardiac catheterization may reduce patient anxiety and increase overall patient satisfaction.
