加護中心病人因抗生素藥物使用多,容易引起多重抗藥性細菌感染,嚴重者甚至造成死亡。本單位於2011年第三季醫療環境內抗藥性菌種檢出率為38.2%,其中9月份更高達44.1%,分析主要問題為「抗藥性菌種隔離」警示牌標示不明顯、缺乏環境清潔標準作業流程及工作人員感控認知不足,故成立專案小組。經由重新修訂「抗藥性菌種隔離」警示牌、感染控制教育訓練,以及建立環境清潔標準作業流程等措施。實施解決方案後,本單位醫療環境內抗藥性菌種檢出率由38.24%降至17.7%。顯示本專案實施措施不僅提高工作人員的感控措施執行正確率,更能有效降低感染發生密度,確實可提升病人醫療照護品質。 |
英文摘要 |
The purpose of this project team was to reduce the detection rate of drug-resistant bacteria in an Intensive care unit (ICU). The increased use of antibiotics for patients in the ICU resulted in increased drug-resistant or multidrug-resistant bacteria infections and an increased mortality rate. The detection rate of drug-resistant bacteria in an ICU was 38.2% in the third quarter 2011 and peaked to 44.1% in September. Issues identified included: poor visibility of the warning sign "Antimicrobial Resistance Isolation," absence of standard procedures for environmental and equipment sterilization, and staff's insufficient knowledge on infection control. The improvement plans included revision of the warning sign, education and training on infection control, and established standard procedures on environment and equipment sterilization. The detection rate decreased from 38.2% to 17.7%. |
