本文的質性書寫主體是「美和棒球隊」，採用口述史研究法，透過美和棒球員個人與群體運動經驗口說記憶的敘述方式，回溯他們在1971～1990年間，接受美和青少棒及青棒球隊集體生活、訓練與比賽的互動情境。資料的蒐集和彙整，包括三位受訪者的口述文本、美和高中棒球隊專欄網路照片與文獻、研究者日誌及反思、相關報章期刊，進行文本的檢核與建構。結果發現，球員們在美和棒球委員會、社會熱心人士及全校師生長期的關心與支持的氛圍下，歷經青少棒及青棒球隊的嚴格訓練、三個級別棒球隊練習比賽的相互激勵、自強杯球賽的淬煉、挑戰全國選拔賽及世界錦標賽的過程中，學習到堅強、奮進與經驗傳承的精神，內心對學校的培育之恩滿懷無盡的感念，終生以身為美和棒球員為榮，努力成就團隊輝煌的戰績，體會到棒球融入生命中的重大意義，就是將熱愛棒球運動的理念生生不息的傳承下去。體育運動學術研究者應該永續書寫各年代棒球隊的經驗故事，積極記錄台灣棒球運動史實情境多面向的脈絡，建置保存各級棒球隊豐富且具生命力的知識庫，使得運動團隊寶貴的智慧，恆久成為台灣本土棒球文化重要的資產。

The subjects were the players of Meiho Junior Baseball Team (MJBT). Oral historical method was used to narrate the training and competition of the players of MJBT from 1971 to 1990, including the life, interactive training and competition. Data were collected, checked and constructed from the oral presentation of three participants, the pictures and documents from the internet, the newspapers and journals, and the daily record and reflection by the author. The results were as in the following: The players of MJBT were concerned and supported by the Meiho Baseball commission, the persons out the school, and all the students and teachers of Meiho Junior School (MJS). In addition, they were conscientious and careful training from Junior League Baseball, Senior League Baseball, three-level training competition, Tze Chiang Cup Competition, the national competitions, and the world competitions. Furthermore, they learned to strong, progressive, and to experience from the training and competitive process, and they were grateful the cultivation by MJB, and honor to be the players of MJBT. In summary, they were trained hard to build the best performances, to experience baseball meaning to their life, and to spread the spirit of baseball to their descendant. It advised that the researchers needed to write the experiences about baseball teams in each year, to record the multiple situations of baseball history in Taiwan, to construct the database from each level baseball team, and to let the baseball culture to be the most important property of our life.
