英文摘要

This article starts with an introduction to the theories of physical education curriculum (PEC), and then proposes a developmental model of PEC from an integrative viewpoint. Because such a model is a relatively larger framework, we adopted Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility as an example of a curriculum model to highlight the correlations among PEC. Finally, we offer five suggestions: (a) proportional cognition, affection, and motor skills focus on a physical education curriculum, (b) cultivating living abilities in a physical education curriculum, (c) extending the targets of pec from schools, teachers, and students to sport teams, coaches, and athletes, (d) examining the cross-cultural issues in PEC, (e) enhancing the connection between PEC and Olympism. We hope this article would contribute substantially to the theoretical developments and implications of PEC.
