Purposes: there were two purposes of this study: One was to explore the emotional reaction of Yoga and Qigong exercises on Exercise-induced Feeling Inventory (EFI), the other was to examine the relationship of the two exercises in different conditions of the four subscales of EFI. Method: Subjects included 29 Yoga exercise Beginners and 24 Qigong exercise beginners that all of them were health. Subjects had to make out EFI by three different conditions during each exercise session. Data was analyzed by the ANOVA of dependent sample and ANOVA of mixed design. Results: 1. The Yoga subjects showed non-differentia emotional reaction by three different conditions of the four subscales of EFI. The Qigong subjects showed significant emotional reactional differentia by three conditions of the subscale of EFI. The main effect by three conditions of Qigong exercise that came up to: (1) the Vigor Recovery subscale by the conditions of Pei-yuan Gong and Auto-moving Gong, (2) the Tranquility Relaxation subscale by the condition of Pei-yuan Gong, (3) the Positive Emotion subscale by the conditions of Pei-yuan Gong, and (4) the Physical Exhaustion subscale by the conditions of Pei-yuan Gong and Auto-moving Gong. 2. As comparing Yoga and Qigong exercise the significant interaction only came up to the Physical Exhaustion subscale. Conclusion: 1. the subjects displayed more vigor, relaxation, tranquility, and released from physical exhausted after Qigong exercise. 2. According to the emotional reaction of the physical exhaustion, the Qigong exercise beginners expressed themselves more positive than the Yoga exercise beginners.
