Yani Tseng is Taiwan's first elite professional golf player, Taiwan seems to be extending a "Yani Tseng effect". The purpose of this study is to discuss before Yani Tseng being well-known and after, whether mess media's attention to Yani changed, and if that is the case, to verify the "Yani Tseng effect" truth. The study was collected and measured in Taiwan's print media as charts; we will also focus on four mainstream print media publications. The results will be showed in three parts: 1. The difference in press layout between before being famous and after; 2. Second, the change of sports and non-sports space in a newspaper; 3. Third, the change in frequency of golfrelated news. Eventually, the results show that: Apple Daily lifting 89.4%;Liberty Times lifting 199.6%; China Times lifting 89.3%; and United Daily News lifting 111.7%. The above statistics proved that the "Yani Tseng effect" truly exists.
