回家吃飯：在全球氣候變遷時代下重新想像地方（上）

在這篇文章中，我将芭芭拉•金索夫的《自耕自食，奇蹟的一年：一個最低食物里程的成功實驗》舆蓋瑞•保罹•那伯漢(Gary Paul Nabhan)的《回家吃飯：在地食物的愉悦舆政治》、。麥可•波倫(Michael Pollan)的《到底要吃什麽?：速食、有機和自然野生食物的真相》和艾瑞克•西洛瑟(Eric Schlosser)的《速食共和國》一併討論。藉由聚焦於當地食物，每位作者都對環境作家舆評論家提出複雜的問题，包括：環境作家、評論家或是行動主羲者一定要找到一處可以全心投入的在地地方嗎？在現代化的世界裡有可能終其一生住在一地或對一地有所承諾？傳統定義下的「地方感」在全球化時代裡還有意義嗎？環境寫作和評論是否應該要反映、聚焦、或是重新將生態論述導離傳統定義下的地方？而朝向全球生態意識發展，如環境變遷？我的論點主要建構在生態評論家勞倫斯•布爾和烏蘇拉•海瑟以及人類學家阿帕度萊的作品上，分析《自耕自食，奇蹟的一年》以維吉尼亞小農場爲焦點如何進一步燃起近來圍繞在地方研究和文學觀念裡的「地方感」的討論。我探索金索夫近期的作品如何提供食物生產、能源保存和氣候變遷的研究方法，並呈現出傳統生態在地主義非小說文本的特點以及在全球化進程脈絡中重新想像「地方感」的意義。
