全球人口的17%,約11.1億是臉書的用戶,但台灣人口的57%,約有1千3百萬是臉書用戶。上網活動如臉書的使用已被視為是休閒活動之一,但上網可能減少其他休閒活動的時間。本研究的主旨在探討人格特質對臉書使用與休閒活動參與的影響。研究假設有三:不同人格特質在臉書使用情況有顯著差異、不同人格特質在休閒活動參與有顯著差異、臉書使用情況與休閒活動參與有顯著相關。本研究以南部某大學學生為研究對象,採取便利抽樣法,共發放了500問卷,有效問卷441份。資料蒐集後使用SPSS 22.0統計軟體,使用的統計方法包括描述性統計、因素分析、信度與效度分析、獨立樣本t檢定、相關分析,採用統計顯著水準為p<.05。研究結果顯示有些人格特質的高低會顯著的影響臉書使用,有些人格特質的高低會顯著的影響休閒活動參與,有些臉書使用情況與休閒活動參與有顯著正相關。

英文摘要

17% of the world populations, around 1.11 billion are Facebook users, but 57% of Taiwan populations, around 13 million are Facebook users. Online activities such as Facebook uses have been viewed as part of leisure activities, but the time spent online may reduce time for other leisure activities. The main purpose of this study is to explore personality's impacts on Facebook uses and leisure activities participations. Three hypotheses were proposed: different personality traits have significantly different Facebook uses; different personality traits have significantly different leisure activities participations, and significant correlations between Facebook uses and leisure activities participations. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 500 students of a southern Taiwan university by using the convenient sampling technique. 441 valid data sets were analyzed by SPSS Statistics 22.0 with descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability and validity tests, t tests, correlation analysis and with a statistical significance of p<.05. The results showed people with certain high or low personality traits had significant impacts on Facebook uses; people with certain high or low personality traits had significant impacts on leisure activities participations; and there were significant positive correlations between certain Facebook uses and leisure activities participations.
