Designing various teaching methods constructs enjoyable courses of physical education, which encourage students' pleasure and enhance their enthusiasm for exercise. Instructors play a substantial role in improving student's physical fitness and quality of life. This article mainly focused on designing fun-teaching volleyball courses, discussing the enjoyment of sports, levels of involvement, and learning satisfaction. Methods: Taking the sophomore students interested in the optional sports module of volleyball from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology as the research object, there were 238 students in 4 classes. The students' enjoyment, involvement level and learning satisfaction were measured, and the collected data were analyzed by structural equation modelling (SEM). Results: As a result, the enjoyment of sports had a significant positive impact on the level of involvement and learning satisfaction; the level of involvement had a significant positive impact on learning satisfaction; and it also had a significant mediating effect between the enjoyment of sports and learning satisfaction. Conclusion: Overall, this study found a close relationship between the enjoyment of sports, level of involvement, and learning satisfaction through designing enjoyable volleyball courses. It suggests that university students who have experienced a high level of enjoyment in volleyball courses and boosted their level of involvement will have a high level of learning satisfaction.
