《周易》是形成於殷周之際的占筮書，在其占筮的外貌中，隱含豐富的人生智慧，其目的是爲了引導人們防患於未然，當面臨險境時能化險爲夷，進而趨吉避凶。因而，在其卦爻辭及《易傳》中，包含了深沉的憂患意識。《周易》中蘊涵憂患意識之卦很多，之所以從八純卦的坎卦入手，是因爲坎卦以水爲象，以險爲卦德，更可深入探究其所要傳達「危者使平，易者使傾」的憂患意識。進而探析其他由坎卦單卦所組成之諸卦，其與坎卦之關係及如何「趨吉避凶」、「習險解難」的方法。

The Book of Changes, a Chinese classic of augury, was written in around Yin or Chou dynasty. In this classic, there metaphorically existed abundant wisdom of life which aimed at leading people to avoid dangers and tend to safety. The conception of precaution prevailed in this Chinese masterpiece; the consciousness of adversity was strongly revealed through the diction of soothsaying. Since there were many divinations containing such anxious consciousness in The Book of Changes, this research begins its analysis from Kan Diagram for the reason that water is the signifying symbol in Kan Divination and that danger is the major revealed divine meaning. By doing so, the conception that danger makes one's life smooth, but comfort makes one's life dangerous can be more thoroughly analyzed. And the mysterious relationship between Kan Diagram and its multi-divinations composed of each single divination in Kan can be discussed in detail, too. Furthermore, the important strategies of how to pursue good fortune and shun the calamity can be clearly revealed and exemplified.
