本研究採用質性研究中的多重案例研究，以深入探討理工科女性對創造力的見解。研究參與者為五位畢業於國内大學的理工科系或目前仍在就讀相關理工科系研究所的女性。資料蒐集的方式包括深度訪談、文件檢視與觀察，所蒐集的資料透過4P理論的觀點進行分析。研究發現在創造人的方面包括喜愛思考、行動力、專業知識與溝通能力等四元素；創造過程包括改變、結合與腦力激盪等三元素；創造產品包括新穎與成本效益兩元素；創造環境則包括重要他人的影響與轉換環境的影響兩元素。本文將所發現的主題與現存的文獻相互比較並進行討論。

This study used a qualitative method of the multi-case study to investigate how females majoring in science and engineering interpreted creativity. Five females fitting the pre-established criteria participated in this study. Data collection involved in-depth interview, document review, and observation. Data collected were analyzed through the 4P perspective. As the results indicated, the aspect of creative persons included passion for thinking, proactive attitude, expertise, and the ability to communicate. The aspect of creative processes included changing, combining, and brainstorming. The aspect of creative products included novelty and cost-performance ratio. The aspect of creative place included influences of significant others and changing environments. The themes uncovered were discussed in the context of the existing literature and the implications were presented.
