本研究以修復式正義為基礎，探討道歉信對被害人復原的意義，及其實務的應用。以開放式問題蒐集資料，敘事取向書寫個人經驗的研究方法，蒐集24份加害人的道歉信，轉給3位被害人閱讀並寫下回應，之後再將回應傳回給17位加害人閱讀並寫心得。研究發現道歉信多數能表達被害人遭受傷害的恐懼、憤怒及缺乏安全感，惟言詞較為表淺，少數呈現其用心，道歉信可應用於評估同理心及矯正療效。被害人對道歉信的反應，因復原階段而不同，故以此作為修復方式，須尊重被害人的需求，兼顧其復原階段及意願。從復原觀點來看，被害人所要修復的關係不一定是與加害人的關係，而是與自己的關係，與自己的和解，此亦是修復的核心。最後，根據研究發現，提出多項建議。

Based on restorative justice, the apology letters written by sexual offenders to victims were transferred to non-related victims to read and collect their notes. The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning in apology on offenders' correction and victims' recovery, and the situation on practice. The research method was narrative approach. Totally 24 apology letters wrote by offenders and 3 victims read and wrote the notes, and 17 offenders wrote their notes after they read victims' notes. The outcome showed that the apology letters by offenders could reflect victims' fear, anger, and insecurity. However, their language of apology were superficial, but a few offenders were conscientious. The apology letter could be used to evaluate the therapy outcome. Victims' reaction to apology letters might be based on their recovery stage. Therefore, using apology letters to the recovery among restorative justice should consider the recovery stage of the victim, which centered on the level of restoring power of victim. Furthermore, victims might not restore their relationship with offender, but restore the relationship with themselves, and a reconciliation with themselves. The suggestions for the future practice were also provided.
