過去研究指出大一新生主要根據學校聲望、學測成績、地緣關係和家庭影響選擇學校,然而,多數學生根據興趣選擇系所,但對就讀系所的興趣程度並不高。本研究以東部某科技大學醫務暨健康管理系四技部新生為對象,進行了問卷調查並分析了入學後的學習適應、學習困擾、自我評估和學業成績等資料。並利用卡方檢定、變異數分析和迴歸分析來探討不同選校因素對學習適應和學業表現的影響。選校因素中的「未來發展」與正向學習態度具有顯著影響(p<.05);在「環境設備」與「未來發展」則與負向學習態度具有顯著影響(p<.05)。而大一學業表現則與「學習困擾」具顯著差異(p<.05)。為瞭解選校因素對大學新生學習適應及學業表現之間的關係,並為大學校方提供改進政策的建議。

英文摘要

The freshmen school selection factors mainly based on school reputation, academic test scores, geographical connections and family influence were supported in the past studies. However, most students accord to their interests to choose the department, but their interest in studying in the department is not high. This study design is to analysis the association analysis among the college freshmen' school selection factors, learning adaptation and learning outcomes in the Department of Health Administration at a University of Science and Technology in Eastern Taiwan. It conducted a questionnaire survey and analyzed data on learning adaptation, learning distress, self-evaluation and academic performance after admission. The Chi-square test, variation analysis (one-way ANOVA) and regression analysis were used to explore the impact of different school selection factors on learning adaptation and academic performance. Among the school selection factors, the future development and positive learning attitude were significant (p<.05); but the environmental facilities and "future development" were significant with negative learning attitude (p<.01 and p<.05). There is a significant difference between freshman academic performance and learning distress (p<.05). In order to understand the association among the freshmen school selection factors, the learning adaptation and academic performance, this study provides the university officials with recommendations for improving university policy.
