求助是一個非常複雜、受許多因素影響的歷程。本文試圖統整求助主題中的相關變項、常用的研究工具，並彙整與歸納以求助態度、求助意圖、求助行為與求助延宕為依變項的相關研究結果，希望可以提供初探求助領域的學生與研究者，整理求助主題中的研究結果及形成研究架構的參考，也希冀有助於心理專業人員理解當事人的求助特徵，進而提供更符合當事人需求的心理諮商服務及協助計畫。
