學校輔導諮商在歷史發展上為一相當年輕的專業學門領域,以美國為首開啟一個世紀多的發展以來,學校輔導諮商已歷經多次的重心轉移與調整,每個時期的轉變均反映出各個時代對輔導工作的期許與定位。台灣於2014年通過《學生輔導法》,即將展開輔導新世紀的一頁,如何思考學校輔導工作的歷史定位,以及將學校輔導工作推動得更完善,藉由回顧先驅國家的歷史發展脈絡,將可提供未來的省思與方向。本文回溯美國學校輔導諮商的歷史發展與各階段的輔導定位,並引介美國學校諮商師協會所倡導之全方位學校諮商方案,以拋磚引玉促進對台灣學校輔導工作更多的思考。
