大學生參與主題式代間園藝治療活動之老人態度與個人成長效益初探

本研究之目的在於探討大學生參與主題式代間園藝治療方案前後對老人的態度差異及其主觀知覺與感受。研究之進行藉由園藝植物媒材，設計一符合高齡者與大學生間可共同進行的單次非祖孫關係之代間園藝治療方案，以3位大學生自由配對1位高齡者的方式進行代間園藝治療活動，總計有39位大學生及13位居住於同一老人養護機構之高齡者參與該活動。以單組前後測相依樣本t考驗方式，測量大學生參與代間園藝治療活動前後之老人態度差異，同時輔以質性內容分析方式，分析大學生參與該活動方案後之心得反思資料，以回答研究問題。研究結果發現大學生在「對老人態度」量表上，對老人的「心理與認知」分量表及整體量表的得分上達到顯著差異（前者t = 2.730，p ＜.05，後者t = 2.111，p ＜ .05）；同時產生五項成長性經驗，包括「修正高齡者觀感、提升溝通信心、正向情緒體驗、生命態度之反思、向高齡者學習」等。基於前述研究結果，提供相關建議於後續研究及實務工作參考。
