新冠病毒(COVID-19)疫情在2020年初爆發以來,不僅對公共健康造成衝擊,對個人心理健康亦有非常重要之影響,飲食異常(eating disorders)即是其中一項重要議題,患者除了因疫情造成的焦慮與隔離壓力外,亦在長期限制外出的情況下,可能使得飲食與睡眠狀態紊亂、活動量減少、媒體使用時間延長,而大幅提高飲食異常的危險性,然而此時卻因隔離等外在管控的增強,而嚴重破壞就醫機會。面對此嚴峻挑戰,國外朝向關注並發展更多飲食異常線上平台,及網路自助資源以因應疫情,並從研究發現,線上平台技術的發展對於飲食異常高風險者之篩選、預防和治療都相當有效。臺灣目前尚未對此議題提出討論,但在疫情肆虐引發許多不穩定之影響因素下,若能開發適用於本土的飲食異常預防網路自助平台等資源,將能提供更多元、可及的預防介入方式。本文由「疫情為飲食異常帶來之衝擊」及「飲食異常之預防-網路自助平台的發展」兩部分進行論述,期望能為臺灣疫情下之飲食異常預防介入議題,帶來更多關注與準備。
