核心自我評價為個體潛意識對整體自我價值與能力的深層次評估，影響個人對現實的看法與行為表現。本文旨在探討核心自我評價近十年（2012∼2022）於心理狀態的發展現況，彙整國內外核心自我評價與心理相關之58篇實徵性研究，分別從研究對象、核心自我評價狀態比較與研究主題及結果進行分析後，形成以下結論：（1）研究對象：多以全職工作者及大學生為主，國內少有非工作群體相關之研究，亦無跨群體或文化之比較研究。（2）核心自我評價狀態：核心自我評價發展與性格差異、婚姻、家庭狀況及生命經驗有關，性別影響之結果不一。（3）研究主題及結果：結果顯示核心自我評價存在正負向兩種特質，且其應用範圍廣泛，眾多研究支持核心自我評價具有重要意義與價值。（4）實務工作的研究與應用：國內研究多在組織心理、工商心理及管理學範疇，諮商領域研究較少，亦無諮商實務相關之應用。（5）量表的在地化發展：目前於臺灣並無統一使用之繁體中文工具，多仰賴學者獨立翻譯進行研究，且使用之題項及選項皆不相同。根據上述發現，本文建議未來的研究可朝向發展統一之本土化測量工具，比較不同文化、生涯階段、群體之核心自我評價與心理健康之關係，並結合諮商理論或技術於諮商實務中進行應用等方向發展。
