英文摘要

The purposes of this article were to introduce the importance of nanotechnology teaching modules integrated into science curriculum, and the design principles of and an example of teaching modules. Moreover, the empirical studies revealed teachers' needs of professional knowledge for nanotechnology teaching and students' learning difficulties in nanotechnology education activities. The findings would provide some implications on the development of nanotechnology teaching modules to professional developers and teachers.
