英文摘要 |
Polarization is an important concept in electromagnetic waves, which represents the direction of the electric field in electromagnetic waves. To understand polarization, students need to consider the relationship between electric fields, magnetic fields, and directions of propagation in three dimensional space. However, based on our teaching experience, since electromagnetic waves are invisible, students often find it challenging to imagine how electromagnetic waves propagate in space. Additionally, students who are not familiar with vector decomposition may struggle to analyze the change in intensity of polarized light after it passes through the polarizer. Given these reasons, this article aims to design an experiment that enables students to "visualize" polarization and simulates the experiment of polarized light passing through a polarizer. |
