隨著大學國際化水準的提高,來華留學生的規模和品質不斷提升,如何面向留學生開展符合其知識、思維特徵及來華學習特點的通識課程顯得日益重要。作為面向留學生的通識教育,中國歷史文化課程以歷史文化的本體介紹為基礎,引導留學生進行中華歷史文化價值與智慧的拓展思考,促進對中華民族整體思維行為方式的理解,並對中國的發展與崛起、中國理念、現象與事件等方面形成合理觀點。該課程是傳播中華文化、宣傳中華智慧等提升「軟實力」的有效途徑,更具有培養知華、友華、潛在的民間外交力量等戰略意義。本文對該通識課程的性質與定位,內容建設與講授方法略作探討,並就後續建設與研究方向提出展望。 |
英文摘要 |
With increasingly higher level of internationalization among universities in China, more and more high-quality international students have been attracted to pursue further studies there. Given this, it is a lot more crucial to develop the general education courses offered in English open to these students. The course "History and Culture of China" aims to familiarize students with general trends and features in Chinese history and introduce them about major features of traditional Chinese culture and its change in modern times. The course also helps students to develop objective idea on today's development in China. This paper discusses the characteristics, objectives, contents and teaching methodologies of the course based on the author's practice, and then offers some suggestions for future research and development. |
