為了系統性回顧臺灣2000年以後與大一年相關研究成果,進而勾勒整體研究輪廓,本研究以收錄於華藝線上圖書館及Web of Science(WOS)資料庫之大一年相關期刊論文為範圍,排除灰色文獻後,共篩選出733篇論文進行分析。本研究系統性地建構大一年研究的發展樣貌,也指出後續研究方向,是國內少數以實徵研究文獻作為分析單位的原創研究。研究方法主要採文獻計量分析,探討大一年研究在臺灣的成長趨勢、主要研究機構及主要研究主題,據以了解大一年目前在臺灣之整體研究概況。研究發現在政策驅動下,雖然大一年研究有明顯成長的趨勢,但研究主題集中在通識教育、學院低年級必修課程、體育課程的學習動機、學習方法、學習成效與影響學生持續學習的關鍵因素,與國外關注的主題有明顯差異,且在研究方法與資料解讀的理論觀點上,亦待進一步擴充。本研究期藉此指引未來研究與實務創新方向,以有別以往的視角來深化問題意識,配合素養導向的教育創新趨勢,帶動可持續的研究熱潮,形成大一年教育與研究發展的跨領域實踐社群,也為通識教育的發展注入新的能量。

英文摘要

This study systematically reviews Taiwan's first-year experience (FYE) research since 2000 by examining 733 journal articles from the Airiti Library and Web of Science (WOS) databases, excluding grey literature. It provides a developmental profile of FYE research and suggests future directions, using empirical research literature as units of analysis. It uses bibliometric analysis to explore trends, prominent institutions, key themes, and co-occurrence patterns in FYE studies, illustrating the overall Taiwanese FYE landscape. This study found that, while there has been significant growth in FYE research under policy drivers, the research themes focused mainly on courses offered through general education (such as freshman Chinese and English class), motivation for learning in first- or second-year student-required courses, physical education, learning methods, learning effectiveness, and critical factors influencing student persistence, which differ significantly from the themes in other countries. Additionally, further expansion is needed in terms of research methods and theoretical perspectives on data interpretation. This study aims to provide insights for future research and inspire a sustainable research trend, forming an interdisciplinary community of practice for FYE education and research development in Taiwan.
