今日可見的由《西遊記》改編的子弟書共計有八種,各篇均選取《西遊記》的單元故事作為題材。在取材方向上,多以小說中有關「神魔相鬥」的情節進行取材,然子弟書創作者並不以神魔相鬥作為主要情節,而是以「世情俗欲」作為創作主題,並經由神魔間的論辯使情欲的主題突顯於作品中。本論文即從「欲望」的角度作為切入,討論《西遊記》子弟書對小說的改編與轉化,並且從文藝思潮的轉型分析「神魔小說」到「世情戲曲」的轉化過程,以及《西遊記》子弟書所標舉出的情欲、食欲、物欲等三種主要欲求為焦點,觀察這些欲求在曲本中如何被呈現、以及背後所代表的生存本能的意義。其次則進一步從「出世」與「入世」的神魔之爭,討論兩種價值觀的辯證如何引導觀劇者正視人生來具備的欲望,以及在價值觀爭論中所帶有的趣味性。經由此分析,可以發現《西遊記》子弟書在小說本身具有的欲望情節進行開展與深化,通過論爭過程的趣味情節與倡言欲望書發的兩種敘事模式,藉以使觀劇者能夠將情感投射於劇中人物,並認同自我的內在欲望。也透過《西遊記》子弟書的此種改編情形,了解《西遊記》在小說與戲曲之間的改編與詮釋上的多種可能性。 |
英文摘要 |
There are eight kinds of Bannerman Song (Zidi Shu) adapted from "Journey to the West" that can be seen today. Each section selects the unit story of "Journey to the West" as the theme. In the direction of the material, most of the novels are based on the plot of immortals and ghosts' fighting. But the creators of the Bannerman Songs do not use that plot, and used the 'secular desires' as the theme. And through the argument between the immortals and ghosts, the theme of lust is highlighted in the works. This thesis takes the perspective of 'desire' as the viewpoint, discusses the adaptation of the Bannerman Songs of "Journey to the West" adapted from the novel, and analyzes the transformation process of 'immortals and ghosts novels' to 'secular drama' from the transformation of literary thoughts. And Bannerman Songs of "Journey to the West" have three main desires, such as lust, appetite, and material desire, as marked by that text, and focus on how these desires are presented in the text and the meaning of the survival instinct represented by them. Secondly, from the dispute between the un-worldly and worldly, the discussion of the dialectic of the two values guides the dramatists to face the desires of life and the interest in the values debate. Through this analysis, we can find that the Bannerman Songs of "Journey to the West" carry out and deepen the desire plots in the novel itself, through the interesting plots of the debate process and the two narrative modes of the prophetic desire book, so that the dramatists can project the emotions. Characters in the play and agree with the inner desires of the self. Through the adaptation of the Bannerman Songs of "Journey to the West", can also understand the various possibilities of the adaptation and interpretation of "Journey to the West" between the novel and the opera. |
