Because examining and establishing the composition theme is the primary step of composition, a number of composition teaching studies have emphasized examining and establishing themes. However, the majority of studies have repeated this subject without further exploring the method to examine and establish themes. This study uses teaching experience incorporated with relevant arguments to propose the idea of using ”body experience reflection” to improve in-depth theme examination. ”Multi-thinking” is used as an innovative method to establish themes. Cognition that reflects body experience helps us embody familiar phrases and appreciate literature works. Multi-thinking can assist us set creative themes. From a forward-looking perspective, multi-thinking broadens our horizon. Although this study only discusses in-depth theme examination and multi-thinking, its discussions can be used as references for teachers and students.
