本文先由族群研究這個學術領域的發展著手,接著,把重點放在族群研究的課題,包括研究方法、研究領域、以及研究定位。再來,我們要探究原住民族研究的發展,包括行政組織、以及師資聘任兩個層面。最後,我們要討論原住民族研究在教學、研究、以及服務上的挑戰。

英文摘要

We start with the development of Ethnic Studies as an academic discipline and move to its focuses, including research methods, research areas, and self-identity. Secondly, we will look into how the field of Indigenous Studies ahs been developed over the years by scrutinizing two dimensions, administrative organization and recruitment of the faculty. Finally, we will discuss how we may face the challenges in teaching, research, and service.
