There are a lot of articles focusing on the use of lactate test to control swimming training from both theoretical and practical angle. How to obtain better effect om swimming training by using both effective training method and lactate test has long been a task closely followed by the swimming circle. A 6-week experiment of 16 male athletes -200m freestyle with different intensities from 70% to 90%-and the following research and discus-sion on the relation between results and lactate test suggested that lactate test is of great importance to training.
