對企業而言,改善決策品質是一件相當重要的事。對管理階層而言,使用資料探勘工具的滿意與績效則是很重要的研究議題。本研究的主旨是在探討個人使用資料探勘工具,影響決策績效與滿意的意向。本研究有兩個關鍵議題:任務適配與科技使用,過去的學者只針對初次採用資料探勘的意圖,這兩個議題的部分構面做探討,因此本研究整合任務-科技適配模式與擴充式資訊系統成功模式來探討使用資料探勘工具的滿意與績效。問卷來自於管理階層,共回收268份,使用最小平方法,來驗證本研究模式。研究結果顯示我們的整合模式比單一模式更能提供較佳的解釋能力。任務適配與科技使用是影響使用資料探勘工具的滿意與績效的重要決定因素,任務-科技適配會顯著直接的影響使用資料探勘工具的滿意與績效,資訊品質與知覺價值會顯著地直接影響滿意與間接的影響績效,而任務-科技適配與滿意是使用資料探勘工具影響績效的關鍵前因。

英文摘要

In enterprises, how to improve the decision quality is of importance for managers; therefore, the satisfaction and performance of data mining tools (DMTs) become a critical issue. This problem mainly concerns the willingness of an individual to participate on the behavior. It can be further defined in a routine-based working behavior. This problem essentially involves two key issues, task fit and technology use. Prior studies have focused on the intention to use DMTs in the primary time and are only considered the part of the two issues for identifying the determinants. The purpose of this study is to discuss about the satisfaction and performance of using DMTs. This study, therefore, integrates the task-technology fit (TTF) model and extended information systems success model (IS Success Model) to examine the satisfaction and performance of using DMTs. 268 respondents from managerial personnel were collected to empirically evaluate this research model. We used partial least squares to test our model. The results show that our integrated model provides a significant improvement for its explanatory power than either model alone. The two issues are all important in influencing the satisfaction and performance of using DMTs. In particular, the TTF indicates a direct effect on user satisfaction and performance. Information quality and perceived value show a significantly effect on satisfaction and an inirect effect on performance. TTF and satisfaction are key predictors of performance of the usage of DMTs.
