It has never been established that the electrocardiogram can give information concerning stroke volume and cardiac output. Tagart et al. (1972) made reference to cardiac output, stoke volume, heart rate, and electrocardiographic configuration. In this paper cited the T-wave changes appear to be moving in the direction of the expected changes in stroke volume. If the T-wave represents repolarization of the ventricles and the QRS complex represents depolarization of the ventricles then there should be a relationship between the two configurations.
