無線網路與感測器技術快速演進,促使IoT應用融入民眾日常活動中,大幅提升民眾的生活品質。近年來,IoT應用結合AI技術成為AIoT,更擴大IoT的務實層面,AIoT是必然的趨勢,各行業都期待IoT帶來的效益,然而IoT卻面臨許多待克服的技術與挑戰。從相關的文獻與報導指出,目前IoT的安全與隱私問題最受到重視,其次為網路傳輸與運算效率、裝置管理與整合能力及數據的儲存等。企業與組織缺乏IOT技術與相關資源,必須適時導入具備邊緣計算的IoT平台,本文剖析IOT平台應具備的基本能力,定義出傳輸效率改善、安全管理、擴充與整合、強化可靠度及異常處理等五項能力,並提出一套IoT平台能力量測(IPCM)模式,再以IOT平台評估程序挑選出最適合導入的IOT平台,協助企業與組織提升IOT的運作品質與執行效益。 |
英文摘要 |
The rapid evolution of wireless network and sensor technology has promoted the integration of IoT applications into people's daily activities and greatly improved people's quality of life. In recent years, IoT applications combined with AI technology have become AIoT, and the practical aspect of IoT has been expanded. AIoT is an inevitable trend. All industries are looking forward to the benefits brought by IoT. However, IoT is facing many technologies and challenges to be overcome. According to relevant literature and reports, the security and privacy issues of the IoT are currently the most valued, followed by network transmission and computing efficiency, device management and integration capabilities, and data storage. Enterprises and organizations lack IOT technology and related resources, and must introduce IoT platforms with edge computing in a timely manner. This article analyzes the basic capabilities that IOT platforms should have, and defines improvements in transmission efficiency, security management, expansion and integration, enhanced reliability and exception handling. Five capabilities, and put forward a set of IoT Platform Capability Measurement (IPCM) model, and then use the IOT platform evaluation process to select the most suitable IOT platform for import, to help enterprises and organizations improve the quality of IOT operation and implementation efficiency. |
