本研究目的在於調查英語教師與學生對於文法翻譯法及溝通式教學法在認知上是否有所同異。共有六十位來自北部某所技術學院的師生(二十位英語教師及四十位英文系學生)參與本計畫。受訪者必須填答兩份問卷。調查發現老師與學生在此兩種英語教學法之認知上,的確持有相似及不同之看法。特別是在語言教學與學習當中,老師與學生對於「正確性」與「流暢度」所持看法分歧最大。據此研究之發現,本文提供英語教學之相關建議。 |
英文摘要 |
of the study was to investigate teacher and student perceptions concerning Grammar-Translation method and Communicative Language Teaching. Participants were 20 English teachers and 40 English majors from an institute of technology in northern Taiwan. Data were collected by means of two questionnaires and analyzed in terms of frequency counts. The results indicated there were similarities and differences between teacher and student perceptions. Specifically, there were discrepancies between teacher and student perceptions regarding the role of fluency and accuracy in language teaching and learning. On the basis of the findings, conclusions were drawn and pedagogical implications were provided. |
