技職院校在面對升學大環境中的嚴峻的考驗時,承擔此重任的就是學校最重要的資源-老師了,而單位的領導者則為各系主任,本研究擬以僕人式領導為主軸,了解各系主任對此議題的認知與應用,是否將其應用在帶領教師團隊?並進一步探討技職院校體系,僕人式領導應用的可行性。本研究以開放式問卷訪問本校前後任主任15位,獲至結論如下:(1)主任們都了解僕人式領導,絕大多數對此領導方式都表認同,多數認為僕人領導理論的特點是「以身作則」及「服務為首」、「共同成長」(2)絕大多數主任都已將僕人式領導應用在系上帶領老師團隊上面,大多是透過以身作則,自己先做的方式進行(3)多數主任認為技職院校的主任適合以僕人式領導帶領老師,原因是能在合諧中分工,且教師的獨立自主性強,應予尊重。另在老師所負責的多項任務中,多數主任認為「教學」與「服務」是最容易領導的兩個項目,「研究」則屬於個人能力之範疇,較不易透過僕人式領導達成效果。 |
英文摘要 |
Institutes of technology face severe challenges from the environments for students to enter a higher school. The key persons to bear the responsibilities are the school teachers who are directed by the department chairman. The theme is to discuss how the chairmen lead their teacher members by means of servant leadership skill. What is their perception about it? Did they apply the skill?. We use the open-end questionnaire to visit 15 former and present chairmen. The conclusions are as follows: (1) All the department chairmen understood the theory of servant leadership and agrees to the methods. They thought the characteristics of the theory is ”to set examples of one, s own action”, ”service is the first important thing”, ”growing up together”. (2) Most chairmen have applied such skill in their own department by setting examples of their own action. (3) Most chairmen thought the institutes or universities of technology is suitable to apply the concept to lead their teacher members. The reasons are it is more harmony to share the responsibilities with each teacher and also can respect them as well. Finally, it is more easier to direct teachers by applying servant leadership skill in ”teaching students” and ”service” and it seems ineffective in ”research” because it is related to personal research ability. |
