本研究主要運用Ajzen（1987）的計畫行為理論（The Theory of Planned Behavior）來探討大專教職員休閒運動行為。研究對象以中壢地區某技術學院教職員為研究對象，以問卷調查方式進行資料收集，共回收231份有效問卷。研究目的：1.瞭解受試學校不同背景之教職員在休閒運動態度、主觀規範、知覺行為控制與休閒運動意圖之差異；2.瞭解受試學校教職員休閒運動態度、主觀規範、知覺行為控制，對運動意圖與休閒運動行為之影響。研究結果顯示：1.不同性別之大專教職員在知覺行為控制上具有顯著差異存在，男性教職員的知覺行為控制顯著高於女性教職員，且年齡愈高者其知覺行為控制的能力愈高，而教育程度較高者其運動意圖有愈強之傾向，職級愈高者其運動意圖愈強。2.大專教職員在參與休閒運動行為意圖上，知覺行為控制與主觀規範扮演關鍵的影響因素，而運動態度反而未能真正影響其運動意圖。3.運動意圖、知覺行為控制均能有效地預測休閒運動行為，然知覺行為控制無須透過運動意圖，亦具有直接影響休閒運動行為之效果。

The purpose of this research is to investigate the recreational sports behavior of College faculty in Taiwan based on Planned Behavior Theory, which is proposed by Ajzen on 1987. Since the pressure of college faculty is getting higher, the recreational sports behavior is considered essential than before. The understanding of the factors that effect recreational sports behavior becomes important. The major concerns of this research are the difference background faculty may have different attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and intention to behavior. Moreover, we want to discovery how these constructs affect recreation sports behavior. In order to accomplish this research, a survey should be implemented. The questionnaire had been developed, which is adopted from Ajzen's in 1992. There are some interesting research results. The perceived behavioral control is significant of genders. Male faculty is much higher than female. So does the elder faculty. Moreover, the intention is significant of those who are higher educated. Then, among these three constructs, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control are significant to intention. However, attitude toward the behavior is insignificant. Finally, both perceived behavioral control and intention are significant to recreational sports behavior. Nevertheless, perceived behavioral control can influence behavior directly.
