人類從中年以後身體各器官及生理機能逐漸老化衰退,加上所處環境、日常飲食及生活習慣等內外在的影響,如一稍不慎,便容易引發中老年常見之三高,高血壓、高血脂及高血糖等危險因子之聚集與侵蝕,而慢性疾病所引發身體一系列症狀,甚至死亡,便是生活於現代富裕環境中的常見現象,在面對此生理之自然轉變,是否可藉由保持良好的生活習慣,特別是藉由規律的身體活動方式來預防或延遲罹患慢性疾病,以延長壽命。而針對中老年人的身體生理及其肢體反應狀況,對身體活動方式及劑量是否有更低的需求,就能達到一定的效果,實在是值得進一步深入探討。 |
英文摘要 |
Aging is a gradual, continuous process of natural change that usually begins during middle life, and is characterized by many bodily functions that begin to gradually decline. Environment, dietary and lifestyle are probably major factors influence susceptibility to many diseases. These factors may result in high risk of chronic diseases, and even premature death. Thus it is important to have a life course perspective of chronic diseases and risk factors which recognize the interactive and cumulative impacts of social environment and biological influences throughout life. Being physically active plays an essential role on improving health and reducing risk factors for chronic diseases. However, the body function and physiological situation in middle-aged and older people should be considered, At last whether less physical activity than the recommended three times a week can have life expectancy benefits is needed further research. |
