The main purpose of this study was to understand current situation of control belief for Elementary Schools in Taichung City. The participants were 97 elementary school sports team students. Using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance to analyze the data, the results revealed that: Various levels of control belief are ranked by internal control responsibilities, internal control capabilities, external control opportunities, and external control environment; There are significant differences in responsibilities and internal control capabilities of control belief by different genders; Only the external control environment is significantly different in the control belief by different grades; Only the internal control capabilities is significantly different in the control belief by different levels of parental education. This study confirms that there are some significant differences in sports control belief of elementary school sports team students. It was suggested that future studies applying diverse physical abilities tests. Recommendations for future research were further provided in the discussion.
