本研究的目的，在於探討台灣寛板滑水運動發展之現況與困境，並作出結語與建議。本研究採文獻分析法與訪談，經由搜集相關文獻、訪談及網際網路資訊，加以歸納、整理、分析探討，發現臺灣自1973年成立中華民國滑水協會以來，歷經數十年的發展變革與推廣，於2006年配合國際滑水總會的要求，正式更名為中華民國滑水暨寬板滑水協會，雖在國際賽屢創佳績，但因補助經費匱乏，滑水運動推廣的困境如下：1.活動水域欠缺；2.高消費運動；3.未列入各級學校課程推廣；4.補助經費編列不足；5.法規過於繁雜。

The study aims at discussing the current development state and difficult position of Taiwan wide aquaboard waterskiing sport, drawing a conclusion, and putting forward initial suggestions. The study adopts documentary analysis and interview. Through collecting relevant documents, interviews, and internet information, conduct induction, summary, analysis, and discuss, it was found that since Taiwan set up China Waterskiing Association in 1973, through decades of years development, reform, and promotion, in order to meet the requirement of International Waterskiing Association in 2006, it formally renamed as China Waterskiing & Aquaboard Waterskiing Association, although our water skiers have achieved good performance for many times in the world, because the absence of fund, the promotion of water skiing sport is facing the following problems: 1. absence of activity water area; 2. high consumption sport; 3. Haven't listed into the course of different-levels of school for promotion
