The geographical expanse of Taiwan, enveloped by the sea, lays the groundwork for the burgeoning marine sport tourism. The intricate interplay between marine sport tourism and critical facets of society, including the economy, sociocultural dynamics, public health, environment, and public policy, underscores the substantial significance of this venture. The amalgamation of these elements plays a pivotal role in shaping Taiwan's socio-economic future, highlighting the strategic importance of advancing marine sport tourism, particularly through activities like windsurfing, sailing and wakeboarding. In the realm of the economy, Taiwan stands to benefit significantly from the expansion of marine sport tourism, especially through the avenue of windsurfing, sailing and wakeboarding. Establishing marine sports activities has the potential to attract both domestic and international tourists, thus stimulating tourism-related revenues. Infrastructural investments in marine sports facilities, such as schools, rental setups, and safety protocols, have the capacity to invigorate local enterprises, spur job creation, and foster economic expansion not solely restricted to coastal areas but permeating throughout the island. This study attempts to explore the management of marine sports clubs, as well as the strategic choice for future development for related water sports in Taiwan. |
