The inclusion of traditional games and the construction of toys in school Physical Education classes have been a constant topic of discussion in the field of Physical Education. The revival of such games is relevant as it contributes to the promotion of autonomy, socialization, creativity, and imagination, enhancing the development of children's human qualities. This article aims to discuss the relevance of working with the construction of toys in school Physical Education classes from a pluralistic perspective, with a view towards education for leisure in the development of students. The methodology of this study was carried out through a narrative literature review, including academic sources such as scientific articles, books by specialists, and other relevant publications. This literature review was conducted to identify and analyze theories and findings at the intersection of traditional games, toy construction, and their impact on child development. The proposed research aimed to deepen the understanding that the construction of toys and playing with them can impact the development of motor and physical skills, socialization, creativity, and imagination of students.
