93歲男性病患因呼吸急促及發燒至急診室求診，經胸部X光檢查顯示左下葉肺炎浸潤並同時發現右葉肺部疑似氣胸現象。惟於隔天，再次施予胸部x光後並無明顯氣胸之證據。我們報告這常見的「假性氣胸」，係因皮膚皺摺引起之個案，希望提醒臨床醫師應謹慎區分「假性氣胸」及「氣胸」避免不必要的處置。
英文摘要

A 93-year-old male patient presented to the emergency department with complaints of dyspnea and fever. Chest radiograph revealed left lower lobe pneumonia and a detachment of the pleura on the right side, suggesting a pneumothorax. On the next day, another supine chest radiograph was obtained, but no evidence of the pneumothorax was observed. Herein, we report a case of pseudopneumothorax secondary to skin fold to remind clinicians to remain alert to the this possibility and help them distinguish between pseudopneumothorax and pneumothorax.
