本研究目的在探討臺灣大學生約會暴力現況如何？女性發起攻擊還是男性？有哪些相關因素？以北部大學生為樣本，進行「大學生約會暴力行為量表」施測，有效研究樣本共443人，男性149人、女性294人，平均年齡20.6歲。研究結果發現：1.有53.3%大學生曾有約會暴力經驗。2.暴力類型以「口語暴力」為最多。3.有暴力經驗的大學生中64.8%的人同時為受暴者也是施暴者。4.整體而言，男女性在經驗約會暴力上並無差異，但在施加「性與親密的暴力」項目，男性顯著多於女性。5.同居狀態、交往時間越長者有較高約會暴力趨勢；戀愛次數越多者有較多約會暴力。最後，根據本研究發現，提供實務工作與未來研究方向之建議。

This study aims to understand colleage student's dating violence. The sample consisted of 443 undergraduate students in Taipei. They were invited to complete a self-report questionnaire ＂College Dating Violence Scale＂. The results are: (a) There are almost half of the participants had experienced dating violence, and mostly of them experienced verbal violence. (b) 64.8% of the participants who had experienced dating violence were both the victim and the perpetrator. (c) There is no evidence indicating that male or female is the victim or the perpetrator in dating violence, but the results show that male tends to use more sex-intimate violence than female. (e) The number of being in relationships is positively related to dating violence. (f) The length of dating relationship is positively related to experiencing dating violence. Discussion of the research findings and suggestions for counseling practice and future research are presented in this paper.
