林書豪成功挑戰NBA的事蹟，讓國內許多優秀的學生籃球運動員燃起美國夢，相繼在國中或高中畢業之後，前往美國求學與打球。然而，在東西方的文化差異影響之下，這些旅美學生籃球運動員的求學歷程也碰到了不少挑戰。本文的目的試著以文獻回顧的方式，探討過往旅美學生籃球運動員的歷程，結果指出：國內優秀的學生籃球運動員大多選擇在畢業之後留在國內繼續求學，僅有少部分會選擇出國求學，而出國求學的群體中又分爲二種類型，一部分以挑戰籃球為主要目的，另一部分則是透過籃球作為媒介，前往美國求學。其次，結果顯示這些旅美學生籃球運動員在美國求學的歷程中，主要所遭遇的問題包含：生活、學習、運動、語言以及經濟等適應問題。因此，如能提前做好規劃與準備，並加強個人語言能力，將能夠有效減緩適應問題，並提升求學的成功機會。最後，也建議政府部門能夠比照普通國際學生，設置相關的獎助學金機制，並適時給予這些旅美學生籃球運動員建議與協助。冀盼透過本文，提供國內優秀年輕學子、家長以及相關人員，在未來考慮旅美求學時之參考。

The story that Jermy Lin challenged the NBA successfully makes many excellent domestic players want to chase the dream of the USA. After graduating from junior or senior high school, fly to America to study and play basketball. However, these student basketball players in the United States will face some challenges because of cultural differences. This paper aims to use the literature review method and investigate the process of student basketball players in the United States. The result indicates that student basketball players in the United States stay and learn in Taiwan after graduating, and only a few players study abroad. Then, the players who go abroad are divided into two parts: one is to play basketball, and the other is to study in the USA. Secondly, the results show that all these student basketball players in the United States will experience the problems of life, study, exercise, language, economy, and other adaptation issues. Therefore, if one can make the schedule, prepare in advance, and enhance personal language ability, it will decrease the problem of adaptation and increase the opportunity to enter school. Finally, it also suggested that government departments set up relevant scholarships and bursaries according to ordinary international students and give advice and assistance to these basketball players in the United States. Through this article, I hope to provide outstanding young domestic students, parents, and related personnel as a reference when considering studying in the United States.
