大氣中的垂直對流所造成的低空風切,對航機飛行安全造成很大的威脅,因此在起飛和降落的過程中、航機穿過大氣裡最低的幾百英呎空間時,是整個飛行週期裡最危險的時刻,說明了機場是發生因氣象所造成的空難最頻繁的地方。低空風切警報系統(Low Level Wind Shear Alert System, LLWAS)的設計是用來偵測機場跑道出現的風切,但是多年來的運行經驗發現該系統具有無法監測的「盲區」。本文提出改善此系統的方法,以增強它的功能。 |

It's a big threat to flight safety when an aircraft encounters with low level wind shear caused by atmospheric vertical convection, as a result, the most critical and dangerous moment of the entire flight happens at take-off and landing phases, and most of the weather-related occurrence happens at or around airport areas. Low Level Wind Shear Alert System, LLWAS, thus developed to detect wind shear appears around airport runway area. However, after years of using LLWAS, it is evidenced that LLWAS has "blind spots", in which microburst cannot be detected. This paper proposes an analytical method to improve and enhance LLWAS's function. |
