Objective: Acupuncture is frequently used for pain relief but the evidence is not clear. Research aim was to assess the effectiveness of acupuncture as a treatment for Chronic pain within the context of the methodological quality of the studies. and to understand the prospects of current research trends of acupuncture clinical studies in Western countries and China. Methods: Systematic literature searches of controlled clinical trials published through relevant to chronic pain practice were conducted using the databases MEDLINE, EMBASE, EMCARE, Chronic pain Literature and the Cochrane Library, Scopus, and CAJ (Chinese Academic Journal) Full-text Database. Results: Traditional acupuncture can relieve pain intensity and improve the quality of daily life with a relative long-term clinical efficacy in patients with Chronic pain. Conclusion: Acupuncture effective for the treatment of chronic pain. Meridian Massage also used in Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), is a gentle but firm pressing stimulation over meridian and acupoints. is a muscularrelaxing method for pain relief. The basic principle of Chinese massage for chronic pain cervical spondylosis is to promote the local blood circulation by removing stasis, and to improve the function of the related internal energy by regulating the cervical joints and correcting abnormal position. Acupuncture meridian massage in and self-care research and feasibility studies are important steps leading to enhanced utilisation of self-care education. However, as yet, higher education system no such department is present, Mmainly because, 1. Lack of economic resources for acupressure and meridian massage education. 2. Acupressure and meridian massage education is not part of Country study programmes. 3. Clear demand for acupuncture and meridian massage education (Theoretical and Practical). 4. The practical part of the course focused, technology and method demands continuity. How acupuncture meridian massage in school education will be indemnified is yet to be resolved. In order to integrate culture into global health advocacy and solutions, The use in acupuncture meridian massage education, and self-care education is highly feasible. a collaborative approach with flexibility in thinking and implementation must exist. therapeutic acupuncture, and self-care education can be positioned for the mutual benefit of both. It would be of to elucidate acupuncture education in acupressure and meridian massage education care in an international perspective.
